TFS 2009 Multi-Family Housing Survey
In August of 2009, Tobacco Free Sarpy partnered with the Sarpy/Cass Health Department to conduct a study regarding smoking in multi-family housing complexes in Sarpy County. The purpose of the study was to understand the attitudes and opinions of property owners and managers of multi-family housing complexes regarding smoking and smoking policies. The survey also helped TFS identify smoke-free multi-family housing complexes in the community to recognize and publicize.
A two-page survey was mailed to 76 multi-family housing owners and managers in Sarpy County. As of January 1, 2010, 38% of the surveys had been returned. Ten of the complexes requested information on how to make all or part of their property smoke-free. Click here to view a map of the smoke-free multi-family housing options in Sarpy County.
